Tidal cove cabanas12/10/2023 ![]() ![]() This is compounded by the queuing system means that lines for all slides are squeezed into one staircase. The slides we managed to get on were good fun but very short experiences - longest ride available is 30 seconds. Doesn't help that such a place tends to attract some very spoilt brats and their entitled parents who don't seem to understand the concept of a line. When the slides opened, line times were around 5 minutes at most. We arrived as the gates opened at 9am and used the pool whilst we waited for the slides to open at 10am. Certainly steep but you'll get value for that ticket price? Wrong. Where to begin? Well the ticket price is a good start - $75 per person and that's on one of the quieter days. It is one average-sized hotel pool, one kids area, a collection of 5 slides and the shortest lazy river I've ever seen. To call this place a water park is somewhat disingenuous. The place is finding its feet being new but is worth the day out. They do great food and the service from the staff was great especially Shelsie. ![]() We visited mid week so the park was empty so now queueing for slides. The blue slide which is like a capsule is brilliant. We enjoyed the lazy river, all the slides and the Flo rida. Staff are friendly, the place is very clean and the service was very good. ![]() This park is a great day out and still gets a 5 star review as we really enjoyed it. On the second visit the only slide which was closed was the big blue one which was a shame but the green and Flo rida were open. We put our luggage into Marriott luggage room. We then spoke with Ethan who was very good along with his manager Sebastian (I think) who gave us another day entry into the park and the kids ice cream as we should have been advised on entry the park was closing for an event and half the slides were out of service.Īs we were leaving a couple of days (from the UK) it was going to be difficult to allocate another day so we decided to check out of our hotel and spend the last day at tidal. We then found out the park was closing at 1pm. We arrived and found that two slides were not working and the Flo rida was out of service. It’s not cheap, $75 each including children. It's perfect for those days when you just can't be bothered by sandy beaches. So we booked to come to the water park staying in a nearby hotel. Peacefully drift down this breezy waterway that flows through a canopy of lush, tropical foliage. However, it's the lazy river that will be calling your name this summer. The waterpark features a 60-foot tower with seven water slides, a 4,000-square-foot kiddie pool, and a surf simulation. In its debut on the Miami scene, it snagged a spot on USA Today's Best New Attraction list, sliding in at number seven.Įditor's Choice: 8 Incredible Spots In Florida Where You Can Swing Into SummerĪfter one visit, it's not hard to see why this world-class spot was quickly awarded in its freshman year. Located at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort and Spa, Tidal Cove initially opened in 2019. Whether you want to glide down a lazy river or drink out of coconuts in your private cabana, you'd be remiss not you spend a day at this luxurious spot. Staycation anyone?
